UK → France
Removals from the UK to France
The most familiar of our European routes — a road move end to end, for a whole home or a shared part-load heading the same way.
The route
Why this move
from the UK.
France is the corridor we run most, and it is a road move from start to finish. We collect anywhere in the UK, bring the load down to the M20 or M2, and cross at Dover or on the Eurotunnel from Folkestone. From Calais the autoroutes open out — the A26 towards Reims and Paris, the A1 north, or south down the A6 and the Rhône for Lyon and beyond.
The households we move to France are a broad mix: families starting again in the south-west, retirees heading for Provence or the coast, and people relocating to Paris for work who simply want their own things around them. A full home travels as a dedicated load; a flat's worth can share a vehicle with other France-bound moves, which keeps a smaller move sensible.
Because France is our busiest route, we can often plan your move alongside another on the same run — without ever cutting the care that a good move needs.
Where we deliver
Across France.
Paris & Île-de-France
Apartments in the arrondissements, the suburbs and the commuter towns — access and lift bookings planned ahead.
Normandy & Brittany
The regions nearest the ferry — Rouen, Caen, Rennes and the coastal towns.
The Dordogne & south-west
Bergerac, the villages inland, and the classic UK-to-France farmhouse move.
Lyon & the Rhône-Alpes
Down the A6 corridor — city apartments and the towns towards the Alps.
Provence & the Côte d'Azur
Aix, Marseille, Nice and the hill villages — a longer haul, but a route we know well.
Bordeaux & the Atlantic coast
The wine country and the coast down towards the Basque border.
Customs, handled
No “sort it
at the border.”
Since Brexit your used household goods still move readily enough, but they travel as a customs consignment. That means a detailed, valued inventory and the right transit and entry paperwork on the French side. We prepare all of it with you before the load leaves the UK and explain what each document does, so there is no scramble at the border.
Worth thinking about
A precise inventory smooths the whole crossing — we help you build it properly at survey stage.
If the French property is not ready, we can store your things in the UK and ship when you have the keys.
Access at the French end matters as much as here — flag narrow village lanes or courtyard entrances early.
