A clearance is rarely just about emptying a property. Often it follows a bereavement, or forms part of settling an estate, and the last thing a family needs is a firm that turns up and treats a lifetime's belongings as rubbish. We do not work that way. We sit down with you first, agree what is being kept, and set a pace that suits you.

From there we work methodically. Items the family keeps are set aside safely; usable furniture, clothing and household goods go to charity wherever they can; and what is left is recycled or disposed of responsibly rather than simply tipped. For probate clearances we keep a clear record of what has been done, which helps when an estate is being administered.

What happens to the items you clear?
With your agreement, usable items go to charity, recyclable materials are recycled, and only what genuinely cannot be reused is disposed of. We can let you know where donations have gone where the charity provides that.
How is a clearance quoted?
It depends on the size of the property, the volume and type of contents, and access. We look over the job — often in person for a clearance — and give you a clear written quote before any work starts, with nothing hidden.
Can you clear a property that is difficult to access?
